GW Law Writing Center Appointment Agreement

This agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between the George Washington University Law School Writing Center (the “Writing Center”) and the individual seeking appointment at the Writing Center (the “Client”). This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the Client`s appointment at the Writing Center.

1. Appointment Purpose The Writing Center provides writing assistance and support to law students to help them improve their legal writing skills.
2. Appointment Scheduling The Client agrees to schedule appointments for writing assistance through the Writing Center`s online appointment system. Appointments are subject to availability.
3. Client Responsibilities The Client agrees to come prepared for the appointment with specific writing concerns and materials, such as drafts, outlines, or research, to discuss with the Writing Center consultant.
4. Writing Center Consultant Services The Writing Center will provide individualized writing consultations to the Client, focused on the specific writing concerns and materials provided by the Client.
5. Confidentiality All information shared by the Client during the appointment will be kept confidential by the Writing Center consultants, in accordance with applicable laws and ethics rules.
6. Appointment Cancellation The Client agrees to provide at least 24 hours` notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a writing appointment. Failure to do so may result in restrictions on future appointment scheduling.
7. Termination The Writing Center reserves the right to terminate the appointment and restrict the Client from further appointments if the Client engages in disruptive behavior or violates any policies of the Writing Center.
